I had been remodeling and creating custom furniture for new and historic homes in Rockbridge County from 1986 - 2003.  During that time and through my inspection experience, I became familiar with a great variety of houses, typifying different architectural styles and age.  It is likely that when you call to schedule an inspection I will have a sense of the house after you tell me its style, age and location.

My report is a hybrid of the checklist and narrative type reports. This is more complex to complete but is also considerably more informative than the standard checklist type report. My reports are easier to read and is not filled with empty boxes that do not pertain to the house you are interested in. The narrative is more helpful in putting a perspective on the issues found and aids all parties in the negotiation process after the inspection.
